The FBI Will Be Called In Concerning the Investigation into the MV Barima Tragedy

In my previous reading, the cards exposed potential corruption and abuse of power involving children. Because of this, I performed a reading on the current investigation to expose the energies surrounding it from the past to the present and into the future. What the cards exposed is troubling. The first card to come out concerning the past was the Ten of Swords. I viewed this as the investigation being dead on arrival. Authorities decided to ensure there would never be a real investigation of what happened concerning the MV Barima. This was followed by the Two of Wands. The Two of Wands says that once it was decided the investigation would never legitimately happen, everyone began to move on. This was then followed by the Sun card in reverse, meaning little or no real information regarding the tragedy has been assessed or considered.

The people of Guyana are demanding a full and thorough investigation, while officials decided to kill the investigation before it even began. The current energy shows the government engaging the public in the energy of the Knight of Swords in reverse. This means the investigation is now politicized, disorganized, and causing conflict with the citizens of Guyana, as well as everyone involved. This conflict is so grueling that the government is deciding to back off because it views continuing to battle with the public as too costly. This has caused them to go into an energy of weighing their options. They are going back to the drawing board with the Two of Pentacles energy, attempting to figure out how to move forward.

The cards show the government choosing to try to sweep the investigation under the rug, with the Death card coming out in reverse. They could have chosen to change their ways and perform a real investigation after coming into conflict with the public over their original choice never to have a real investigation. Instead, they will choose to move forward with their original plan. The problem with that approach is that information is going to come to the surface that will contradict their approach of remaining blind to what happened concerning the MV Barima. This is shown by the Two of Swords coming out in reverse. Previously withheld information will be made public. Internal disagreements between officials will boil to the surface. Decision-makers will be forced to make decisions they previously failed to make. This is going to force the FBI to get involved. The Emperor card comes out to finish the reading. I perceive this as a foreign entity needing to get involved because the government of Guyana is incapable of handling an investigation of this magnitude. The imposition of rules, boundaries, and a clear chain of command will be necessary for this investigation to be properly performed. The FBI will be the institution to bring that to the table and give everyone closure concerning the MV Barima.
