Mark Cuban Is the Latest Billionaire Fool Under Judgement
Inequality in America has always been a problem. Since slavery our nation hasn’t been able to produce a fair and just playing field for all its citizens. We are now in the year 2026 and inequality is growing at a pace where the nation is falling apart. Enter Mark Cuban, the maverick billionaire who has made it his mission to tackle this issue once and for all. Fortune Magazine posted a piece yesterday on Cuban’s “solution to the growing income inequality” problem we have faced since our founding. He calls on every business to give company stock to every employee from the CEO to the janitor. And just like that inequality will end. I read this piece totally shocked with his naivety. I couldn’t believe a smart billionaire could have such a simpleton mindset when it comes to something so huge that has plagued our nation for so long. I turned to the Tarot deck to see what was going on here.
The first card to drop was the Fool card. Mark Cuban is coming into this situation bounding with glee, without a care in the world. He is of the energy of someone who is taking a leap of faith in full confidence that the angels will catch him when he jumps off the cliff. This was followed by the Lovers card. The subject of inequality in America makes him feel loved and whole again. Tackling this subject brings him so much love and peace he feels it’s his life’s calling. He’s able to take this leap and feel so loved doing it because he is supported by the Six of Pentacles energy. The Six of Pentacles is a card that shows the person embodying it can give back to the world after a life a hardships and trials. Advising the nation to push for stock offerings to every employee in a corporation is Cuban’s way of being charitable and looking out for those not as blessed as him.
My intuition on the entire billionaire class in America tells me they are detached and have no idea what the true problems are facing the average American. This act of charity by Cuban is a confirmation in my mind. He lacks the understanding and awareness needed to step into such a heavy topic as inequality. There are layers to this. America has had this problem since its founding because of serious issues with how our system is built. Cuban like the other billionaires seems to feel a sense of obligation but lacks the vision to execute and alleviate himself of this obligatory burden. The reality is most of them have gamed the system for their wealth. Some have even cheated it. It is a system of inequality that rewards the cheaters and criminals and punishes honest hard-working Americans. Company stock can’t fix that.
The Six of Swords popped up showing Cuban needs to move on from this topic. The problem is he is in Fool energy while feeling loved talking about it. And since he has the resources and desire to give back, he won’t step away. He is going to continue to push down this path. The problem is a Ten of Swords is awaiting him. The Ten of Swords is one of the most brutal cards in the Tarot deck. It’s closer to death than the Death card. But Cuban isn’t going to stop because he also gets to embody the Queen of Swords energy engaging with this topic. As pushback comes his way through the Ten of Swords he is going to defend himself by slicing and dicing his detractors. His argument is going to be persuasive, and he is going to sound smart to all the other billionaires watching him on this path. The problem is he will ultimately find himself under Judgement going down this path, with the Judgement card coming out as the ultimate insight on this reading.
Billionaires who gamed a system of inequality probably shouldn’t try to be altruistic by offering band aids to a population suffering from gaping wounds. Cuban is minimizing a huge problem that needs real solutions. Solutions that should change the entire system he gamed for his riches. I feel he knows the entire system needs an overhaul but at the same time he doesn’t want to give up the advantages that allow him to prance around like a fool while receiving roses he doesn’t deserve. He is a man of ego, and the Ten of Swords is the ego killer. Another billionaire will bite the dust it seems.
